Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Army Veteran, Scout Leader, Queen, these are just a few of the many titles that describe who I am.
I am Abby Scherzer, Mrs. USA Prime Ambassador 2023! At the age of 40, after competing in ‘Mrs.’ pageants for 6 years, I won my first National Title. It has been a long and exciting road to get to this point, and I couldn’t be happier that I achieved this level in pageantry with THIS pageant system.
Joining Prime Pageants seemed a no-brainer for me. When I heard that Kristen Ayers started a system that was focussed on self-care, I knew that this is where I was meant to be. The friendships I’ve gained through pageantry over the past 6 years has been amazing, but the FAMILY I have found in Prime Pageants is indescribable.
Outside of pageants, I am supported by my husband of almost 19 years, Steve, and my two amazing daughters Avonlea and Emilia. Together we have built a home and network of support, positivity, fun and community involvement.
My hope for my reign as Mrs. USA Prime Ambassador with Prime Pageants, is to inspire others to do what scares them. I am unconventional, to look at me and meet me, your first impression wouldn’t be ‘beauty queen’, and that’s what I love about Prime Pageants. The system takes fairly normal people like myself, the overworked and overstressed mom, and brings them a community of like-minded women who just want to raise each other up and celebrate each other’s wins.
Prime Pageants lets you choose yourself as your platform. Your life goals and aspirations, what drives you, is your platform. For myself, it is Family, creating fun opportunities for family togetherness. I am a Disney Travel Planner, so naturally, my platform focussed around bringing the magic of Disney into each and everyone’s unique family and home. Along with Disney as a tool, I also use volunteering and Community involvement to help strengthen the family structure, whatever that may look like to you.
When I call myself a ‘Beauty Queen’, it isn’t because Prime Pageants is a ‘Beauty Pageant’, because it’s not, it’s so much more. I refer to myself that way because I believe that anyone willing to step out of their shell, focus on what moves them, and share their accomplishments out loud with others, is beautiful.
I’m looking forward to bringing more women into the family that I’ve found in Prime Pageants, and helping them to become the best part of themselves.
